Recently, a child commented on my latest painting with contempt, saying: “What is this? Where did you see a dandelion growing in a shell?” She said almost the same thing a friend of mine commented a few days earlier. The comments resonated with the message that I tried to depict: growth and transformation often occur in the least likely people and places. If you've recently been treated with contempt, today's message is meant for you.

Some people believe that personal goals, such as raising a family, securing a well-paying job, or saving for retirement, constitute their life purpose. While I don't want to diminish the importance of achieving personal goals, there's more to life.

As I pondered how the sparrows managed to survive the harsh winter and food scarcity, they appeared carefree and entertained. I wished to be like them, so I began observing them to see if I could learn anything. My latest painting and poem are the result of it.
