Are you feeling exhausted? Are you dreading tasks you once enjoyed? These could be signs of burnout. If so, it's the perfect time to explore who you are and what your life's purpose might be. Some people believe that personal goals, such as raising a family, securing a well-paying job, or saving for retirement, constitute their life purpose. While I don't want to diminish the importance of achieving personal goals, there's more to life. If you're on a mission to find a way to live a purpose-driven life, today's blog post is for you.

Regardless of your current stage in life or the responsibilities you hold, you can begin to align your life with the fulfillment of the Creator's vision for who you are meant to be. From this state of being, you will naturally flow into doing.

When God created you, you were uniquely created, and He created you with a special purpose in mind. In your personal, spiritual walk with Jesus, the Holy Spirit is revealing the Father’s heart for you to uniquely be expressed in this world. This purpose flows from a place of rest in the Father’s love for YOU.

David, upon realizing the depth of Father’s love for him, expressed it poetically: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” - Psalm 139:13-14. Similarly, Jeremiah recorded God’s message to him: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” - Jeremiah 1:5

Are you aware of your life's personal purpose? If not, it's not too late to discover it. One way to explore your life's purpose is by creating a list of your personal passions, spiritual graces in your life, and the talents you have been gifted by Father.

If you have some grasp of your personal life's purpose, you will also have some insight into the tools given by the Father to fulfill your life's purpose and lead a meaningful life that influences others.

In the Bible, tools are often mentioned in relation to arts and crafts. The Hebrews were not particularly skilled with tools, as illustrated by the references to Bezalel and Oholiab, who were specially gifted to construct the Tabernacle (Exodus 31:1-11; 35:30-36:1). This example teaches us that God, as a creator, endows certain individuals with the ability to reflect this aspect of His nature, granting them the grace to create. As God reveals His purpose for specific individuals, He also equips them to perform particular tasks and provides the necessary tools. Although it may take time to learn to use these tools and develop the skill, every journey begins with the first step.

Today, I invite you to delve into and list the passions, talents, and gifts that God has entrusted to you. In doing so, you can also examine the tools provided to you for fulfilling your life's purpose.

Having spent over a decade in full-time ministry and recovering from depression and burnout, I began to uncover a creative side of myself in 2020 that I never knew was there. Gradually, by recognizing some of the tools that Father had blessed me with—such as a pencil, a pen, and a paintbrush—I started to cultivate a gift of creativity that manifested in writing encouraging letters, poetry, drawings, and paintings…

Developing skills requires time, so I began with modest encouragements and creative expressions, initially sharing them with family and a few individuals, gradually expanding my audience. Two years ago, I felt it was the right moment to present it to the world via this web page.

The newly discovered talents have transformed my approach to ministry, allowing me to express my heart uniquely rather than echoing what others have said or done. This expression, however simplistic or childish it might appear to others, is authentically my own. I've discovered a way to share the gospel through who Father created me to be, whether through a drawing, a painting, a blog post, or a sermon.

Throughout this journey, I discovered that when I shared something given to me as an unpolished diamond, regardless of its roughness, it held value. By simply obeying the call to share an unrefined gift, despite the risk of ridicule or rejection, I gradually received more. I gained more inspiration, a deeper understanding of the gift, my skills improved, and a larger audience was touched by my creativity…

After 16 years in full-time ministry, I discovered how to live a life flowing from the purpose Father created me to be. If only you knew the sense of freedom this brings! When you embody who Father meant for you to be, you'll be amazed at how naturally you can share comfort, encouragement, hope, love... with the world. There's no pressure; you simply are who God intended you to be, embraced by His love, and you flow like a river from His heart to someone else's heart. In Father’s love, you find freedom, rest, and joy. You feel inspired, eager, and happy to share your gifts and Father's love expressed through your quirks, roughness and uniqueness with others. You are finally free from expectations and instead you share the REAL you.

Today, I am inspired to share my gift of creative writing with you. I hope it inspires you to explore your true self and discover what needs to be liberated within you to add joy to your life today.
