When I took this photo, I realized it was personally significant, but I also felt it could offer something to someone else. It might not be a coincidence that you found this message today; perhaps there's something here for you too.

This photograph was taken in Zadar, Croatia, in the summer of 2025. In this tourist location, some buildings still show signs of artillery shelling, even two decades after the war ended.
The building in the photo serves as a metaphor for people. Tattoos and scar tissues on individuals can serve as visible reminders of past traumas and unhealed wounds. Do you have tattoos, piercing, or scars on your body? You are invited today to reflect on them in prayer, asking Jesus to heal any internal pain and to cover the external reminders of past unfortunate events.
The photo also features a pharmacy sign. Inner healing often requires time and a process to unfold. During these times, we might receive "spiritual medicine" to address symptoms before full healing occurs. If you're in the midst of healing process, you can ask the Holy Spirit for "medicine" to alleviate the symptoms of heartache. Prayerfully expect to receive the medicine and it will be given to you. This medicine may appear as various meaningful encouragements and refreshments alleviating effects of inner pain, bringing unexpected comfort and joy.
If the Holy Spirit, through today's devotional, provides you with such medicine, please share it with someone. Maybe someone else could also benefit from the medicine you received.
