Are you feeling stuck and uncertain about what lies ahead in the next chapter of your life and ministry? Does it seem like the transition is dragging on, and you haven't fully moved forward? It's likely that you've already entered a new phase of your life, but you're currently in a waiting period. What are you waiting for, and why?
Many feel they are in a phase of anticipating answered prayers. These waiting times are often integral to the maturation process, fostering endurance, perseverance, and patience. It is also a time of navigating different stages of shedding unfulfilled desires, unrealistic dreams, and immature hopes.
We have just come out of a phase marked by strong opposition, making progress challenging. Now, we are in a period of waiting for the sign that it's time to 'go fishing', as we discern the next step of the Holy Spirit in our local contexts.
You can prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit's revelation about His "next move" and how you might be involved. You might sense an upcoming movement among teenagers. Whatever He reveals, the Holy Spirit wishes for you to take part, if you decide to. Indeed, you have the option to engage in kingdom purposes or to do your own thing. The choice is yours.
