Frustration signals that a change is necessary. If you've been experiencing frustration and longing for transformation, today's blog post is tailored for you. Just as you found yourself in frustration, you can also transition out of it and find peace.

Often, we cannot alter our circumstances, but there is always one thing that can change: ourselves. Sometimes, the change needs to occur within us rather than in our surroundings. Change doesn't have to be painful; it can be filled with joyful expectation, peace, or love. When journeying with God, transformation is a natural process that happens while focusing on Jesus.

Speaking of transforming frustration into inner change, painting the recent work, "Peaceful Iris," was my way of embracing part of the journey to growth. This artwork is part of the new artistic project called "Art of Transformation." This artistic journey invites viewers to delve into the theme of transformation, encouraging them to engage in a metamorphic journey similar to that of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

I hope that aspects of my personal transformation journey can also be beneficial to the readers of Creative Helping Hands blog. Here is the message of this artistic journey:

A room features a large painting of a purple flower on a green backdrop. Below, a gray couch with pillows and a small side table with a lamp.
"Peaceful Iris" 2026. Oil on canvas, 30cm x 30cm

Irises flower from late spring to early summer. Similar to other purple flowers, the purple iris often represents royalty. Additionally, this well-known iris signifies wisdom and courage. The name Iris comes from the Greek word for "rainbow" or "messenger."

In the Bible, the rainbow represents more than just a natural occurrence; it is a divine symbol of God's enduring covenant with humanity, conveying a message of hope (joyful expectation) and new beginnings.

"Peaceful Iris" invites a viewer to look beyond current difficulties and find cover in God’s faithful promises.

There is a sense of peace while observing the painting, inviting the viewer to exit frustration and enter shalom.

Take a few moments to look at the painting, focusing on your emotions. When you feel a sense of peace, let it envelop you like the petals of an iris.
