"Birds of a feather flock together" is an English idiom meaning that people with similar traits, interests, personalities, or other unique characteristics often associate with each other.
In today's blog post, we explore the theme of finding "birds of a feather" and living together harmoniously through the newest artistic project.

The three birds portrayed in the painting represent the grace of friendship, compassion, and mutual support. Typically shy and wary, these three songbirds have chosen an unexpected spot to congregate—beneath the shelter of a sturdy tree rather than perched on its branch.
Their gathering radiates a sense of peace and harmony.
The contrast between the solid hardness of the oak trunk and the delicate and vulnerable singing birds explores how tenderness and vulnerability can find courage and strength in unexpected locations.
When observers look at the painting, they are invited to reflect on whether they are "flocking with birds of a feather" and to think about where their perfect gathering spot might be.
Reflecting on discovering a community and a sense of belonging, observers are invited to contemplate:
“Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone.” - Romans 12:16-17 AMPC
